These terms describe the rules, responsibilities, and limits that apply when you access and use JustCV.
1. Service Description
JustCV provides online resume editing, template selection, export tools, sharing features, and related support functionality. The exact feature set may change over time.
We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features when necessary for operations, compliance, security, or product upgrades.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and ensure that any sign-in information you provide is accurate and under your lawful control.
If you use the service on behalf of a company, school, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that entity.
3. User Content and Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the resume content you upload, enter, export, or share, including its legality, accuracy, completeness, and respect for the rights of others.
You may not use the service to publish unlawful content, false claims, malicious code, infringing material, or anything that disrupts service stability.
If your use causes complaints, disputes, claims, or regulatory risk, you are responsible to the extent permitted by law.
4. Payments, Access, and Refunds
If the service offers paid features, one-time purchases, or future upgrades, the price, entitlements, and payment rules shown at checkout control.
Unless otherwise required by law or stated during payment, digital services are generally non-refundable once access has been granted.
We may review, delay, or cancel access when fraud prevention, abnormal payment behavior, or compliance checks make that necessary.
5. Intellectual Property
JustCV and its interface design, template structure, branding, code, and related materials are owned by JustCV or its licensors.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for lawful purposes.
Unless the law clearly permits it or we provide written permission, you may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service itself.
6. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any particular hiring outcome.
Maintenance, upgrades, third-party outages, network instability, and force majeure events may affect continuity.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Resume templates, AI suggestions, and editing assistance are informational tools only and do not constitute recruiting, legal, tax, HR, or career-advisory advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JustCV is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss, goodwill loss, lost opportunity, or lost profits.
Where legally permitted, our total liability relating to your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid to JustCV in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or a minimal statutory amount if you paid nothing.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
These terms remain effective while you use the service. We may suspend or terminate your account and access if you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, engage in suspected fraud or abuse, threaten service security, or if applicable law requires us to act.
Where reasonable and safe, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue. We may restrict access immediately or remove related content when urgent security risks, fraud, clearly unlawful conduct, or regulatory requirements make that necessary.
You may stop using the service at any time or request account deletion at support@justcv.org. Termination does not remove obligations that arose beforehand; paid access and refunds remain subject to applicable law and the policy disclosed at purchase.
10. Updates and Contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the product, payments, law, or operations. Updated versions take effect when posted unless we state otherwise.
By continuing to use the service after an update, you generally agree to the revised terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the service.
